Remote Video Sessions

Live recorded remote sessions are a key feature of HeadRest Healing Arts.

Remote sessions can focus on specific goals like teaching you a series of personalized self-care practices, as described below – or broaden into more open-ended support and explorations in the realm of body-mind-spirit healing, in all cases drawn from decades of training and practice.

These sessions can serve as complements to in-person sessions or as a path of support on their own.

Key Elements include:

• Self-massage and acupressure, with a focus on mouth and jaw work

• Focused stretching and other therapeutic movement practices

• Body awareness practices to support balancing the head and neck with the rest of the body

• Sound-healing and breath work

The practices in these sessions can be used for:

• Easing pain and tension

• Increasing range-of-motion

• Supporting recovery from specific injuries, as well as from surgeries and infections

… and will serve additionally towards:

• Easing the cycle of anxiety and worry

• Supporting optimal immune system function

• Supporting more clear, healthy breathing; and

• Strengthening the capacity to feel connected with the gifts of life

Sessions of a more open-ended nature can include:

• Body-centered trauma healing work

• Suggestions and explorations for journaling and other expressive arts or ritual practices
